Clarinet tone / help mouth?

I have been playing clarinet for about 7 years now, but I still have not done my a nice tone, a log. I broke several bad habits such as not taking enough mouthpiece, not tucking in my lower lip, and does not hold my tongue in the middle of my mouth. However, I can not flatten my chin. Scrunch it, causing my tone to sound nasally and type of trap and timid, as it is not as strong as it should be. I tried really hard to flatten my chin and open my throat grew more, but I can not seem to get Ahold of her, especially since I'm still tightening my mouth muscles to bring the pitch and when I play Eb clarinet. Suggestions? Sorry for the confusion, I meant pitch problems with the Bb (we tune A442, so I am always very flat, so my muscles tightening mouth) and Eb Just Squeeze Me makes my mouth muscles in general.

Habits are hard to break. When the clarinet is in your mouth Your muscle memory takes over – and then you struggle with change. So – make the change first, not the clarinet. Make the "long face" – has decreased jaw, chin flat, etc. Once you can maintain that position – and then introduce the clarinet. If you restore – Start Over. Practice facial position without the clarinet, and without Thinking front of the computer, watching TV, walking, etc. – until it feels natural and automatic. If there are problems with the high BE affecting your BB to play – then STOP playing the Eb resolved before! Maybe during the summer, you can recycle your mouth – I assume that your own is the bb clarinet, and Eb is for the school. However, once you take it back – expect a fight yet times. Our memories (ergonomic, listening, and sight) serves us well when we want – and we do when we do not want to – so it is better learn correctly from the start, then try to recycle – as you well know: Good luck! – We have all experienced similar things. I teach my flute students deprived of doing things differently than I learned – because there are better ways, and it is a struggle for I recycle some things after playing the flute for 45 years (I'm 59). Better to have them start right from scratch than use me a mixed or compromise their learning! Good luck – it works – just clams remian, do things very slowly and be patient.
