Do not Forget was produced by Alessio Brocca and released on Edizioni Musicali Brocca. This marks the third recording by Tommaso Starace and his first collaboration with Michele Di Toro, Attilio Zanchi, Bradascio and Tommy. Tommaso is an artist who started out playing saxophone at age 18, a little later a few, but he made up for lost time. He breathed his being into his music inspired by the best of the past and present both musically and different photographic images, while inserting always unique sense of timing and playfulness in his game
Do not Forget opens with a solo on Tommaso Prelude Isfahan where his saxophone created a veritable cascade of voice that invites the listener to take note that they are a feast. The prelude to Isfahan leads to its namesake, the track of Isfahan, which provides ample space for each member of the band add their individual signatures to swing song. Runway divieto di Sosta (no parking) makes fun of all the drivers who have been unfairly labeled by the police. Tommaso uses its unique organization to create a clear interaction between each of the saxophone and other instruments to reflect the different stages that a pilot in May as they will plead their cause untenable to the police officer [surprise, surprise, bewilderment, humility, and frustration].
September Blues opens with a rousing drum solo that leads into a jazz and blues sound complemented by haunting saxophone Tommaso then it passes through the dizzying riffs. Attilio Zanchi back on his many influences of the 1970s in his arrangement of joyous way, written by Stevie Wonder, as he adds in a bit of mischief and energy to the sound.
Tommaso Farewell Ballad Capa is influenced by the many photographs by the legendary combat photographer Robert Capa. A very moving track that reflects the emotional photograph made through eye Robert Capa.
Bonus tracks include Confused with a torrid saxophone against compulsory drum and piano solo with a low swing supplement Go Tom, who has a significant straight groove, the arrangement of fire Tommaso track Oscar Pettiford Bohemia After Dark, and ends with the title song Do not Forget, written by Pat Metheny.
