How should lose my double bass pedal be?

When batters come to me get my foot quite tight, not too tight, but just tighter than what they use and when I find just a drum kit anywhere with a double bass pedal, I feel s *** cause I just try to do something quickly and I can not control the speed or anything. My foot took a few months getting used to, but I can go pretty fast now … If my pedal to be more flexible? (I played drums for exactly a year today).

Do not care what others think of drummers how your pedal is pressed. If you are comfortable with the seal? Maye you can try on a more flexible, but remember that you want the setting you are comfortable and can give you more control and speed.
