What books and software do you suggest to learn piano, reading scores, and music theory?
I try to learn playing the piano. I guess the first step is knowing how to read musical scores. I was wondering if there was software that allowed me learn notes computer keyboard. You're really better to take some piano lessons in person if possible. Any theory in the world will not help you if You can not link the notes to the keys and tones. Once you can get a good visual map that C or F # * looks * and * sounds * like the piano, then you can begin to see how it translates into a score. Once at this point, there are one million self-learning books and videos, and you can choose one that works best with a style LEARING you want.
